Larger font:

Letter height: 12 stitches (all characters)
Letter width: 6 Stitches (standard) Min 2 (I, !) Max 10 (M, W)
Full stitches only

Smaller font:

Letter height: 7 caps, 6 lowercase (with descender of 1)
Width: 3 (standard) Min 1 (I, !) Max 6 (M, W)
Backstitch only, but half-interval stitches are common
